
1) START TIMES
- Two and three hour daytime tours will start at either 10am or 2pm.
- Two hour evening tours will start between 8pm in winter and 8.30pm in Summer.
- Three hour evening tours 7.30pm in Winter and 8pm in Summer.
- Half Day tours will start at either 9.30 am or 2pm.
- Full day tours will start at 9.30am
(As a result of prior agreement all start times can be varied).
2) PRIOR TO YOR TOUR
On booking the client will need to provide a contact Mobile (Cell) number. We would attempt to contact this number if there is no show at the appointed time etc.
A week prior to your tour HLTT will text the Mobile (Cell) number the client has provided. The client will be required to confirm the receipt of this text. The number used by HLTT will be the Mobile (Cell) number the client will use to contact the appointed Driver and Guide if necessary. If there is any change of Driver the new number will be text to the client.
If you are aware that your plane, train, boat etc is late you must contact the mobile number provided to you immediately and advise on your new expected time of arrival. If more than four hours notice is given of this delay no additional charge will be made to your tour. If less than four hours notice is given a charge of £35 per hour will be made for the period from the original arrival time to the new arrival time.
The maximum delay to a tour will be two hours. After this the tour will be considered a no show, and the refund policy will apply.
If it is not practical to conduct the tour in part or in full because of delays the refund Policy will apply. This decision will be made by HLTT staff.
3) WEEKEND BOOKINGS
All weekend bookings will be charged 15% higher than advertised fee.
4) REFUND POLICY
The Refund policy is as follows.
- If cancelled more than 7 days before the Tour date a full refund of the deposit will be made less a £10 administartive charge.
- If less than 7 days but more than 24 hours a £50 refund will be made.
- If less than 24 hours notice is given no refund will be made.
- If there is no communication and no show at the appointed time the driver will wait for 30 minutes and thereafter the deposit will be lost.
- If the driver is aware that a flight, train, etc is late he will wait for up to two hours at the £35/hour rate outlined above.
- If the tour is cancelled by the HLTT a full refund will be made.
- If the client wishes to change the date of their tour HLTT will endeavor to cooperate with any request. Any date change must be requested at least 4 days in advance of the planned tour. If it is not possible to rearrange the Refund Policy will apply.
5) TRAVEL CONDITIONS
- Clients are responsible for their own safety on tour.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring seat belts are used in our tour vehicles at all times.
- Our staff reserve the right to terminate any tour for unreasonable behaviour.
- Clients must acquire adequate travel insurance to cover any loss of personal belongings or financial loss as a consequence of flight cancellations, personal illness or any other circumstances.
- Normal luggage assumes that one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person, any luggage that the Taxi cannot accommodate is the responsibility of the passenger.
- HLTT cannot be held responsible for any loss (financial or professional) missed connection times, flights, trains, due to the Taxi not arriving at the pick-up address at the booked time.
- HLTT cannot be held responsible for any missed connections i.e. flights, trains, boats due to adverse weather, traffic conditions, road traffic accidents or road closures and diversions.
- Any fouling of the Taxi by any passenger will result in a charge of a minimum of £30.00 dependant upon the severity of the fouling. HLTT will prosecute any person who causes damage to any Taxi booked through us.
- By booking HLTT services you agree to these terms and conditions.
6)
INCLUSIONS
- Driver, Vehicle hire, Toll and fuel costs.
7) EXCLUSIONS
- Entrance fees to tour sites.
- Meals or refreshments
- Flights or accommodation.
- Parking fees
8) RUNNING OVERTIME
It is frequently, and only natural that tour parties over run their allocated time in their enthusiasm to see and do everything. In this event the first additional hour after a tour will be charged pro rata at only £35 per hour. For tours over 5 hours this charge will be £30.
9) PAYMENTS
A £50 deposit is made upon confirmation of all tour bookings. The remainder of the balance is then paid at the start of the tour. Any additional fees and expenses incurred during the tour will be paid upon completion.
